Imam ibn Hajar al-Haytami is an outstanding scholar and thinker who has achieved recognition in the field of Fiqh (Islamic law). He had a significant influence on the development of Islamic science. The article examines the reasons for the success of al-Haitamiʼs views among colleagues and followers, due to deep knowledge of Islam and a great contribution to Islamic jurisprudence.

Rest plays an important role in human life. It is a natural need of a person at the level of spirit and body, who has been made so by Almighty Allah. All people – young and old, men and women – try to enjoy their holidays by choosing a suitable type of recreation for themselves. In the modern world, there are different spaces for recreation. The author examines them, correlating them with the norms of Sharia.

This article deals with the issue of internal Sharia control applied in banks that offer Islamic financing products such as Murabaha, Ijara, Musharakah, Salam, and others. It explains the concept of internal Sharia control, its types, its importance, and the foundations upon which it is based, as internal Sharia control in banks has become the most important standard of good governance in banks. Its position is derived from the consensus of the reference institutions for Islamic banks in the world, such as (AAOIFI), (IFSB), and (CIBAFI), on the necessity of its existence, independence, and the binding of its decisions. It also derives from its position within the organizational structure of the bank, as it reports directly to the general assembly of the bank, not to the executive management. This article also focuses on the most important stages that Sharia supervision processes go through in light of the principles and standards decided by the reference institutions for Islamic finance, such as the principle of independence, the binding decisions of the Sharia Supervisory Board, and the dual supervision accompanying the bank’s activities before, during, and after operations.

The book “Hazinat al-ulama wa zinat al-fuqaha” (Treasury of scholars and decoration of jurists) by the 14th century Golden Horde theologian Muhammad al-Bulgari has not been studied or translated into Russian before. It contains historical facts, geographical notes, and religious instructions from the Golden Horde period of history. The article is devoted to the modern reading of the manuscript in the context of the spiritual, moral and cultural values of society.

The article is devoted to the study of the relationship of Sh. Marjani on the issue of Muslim identity based on excerpts from the book “Muqaddima kitab wafiyat al-aslaf wa tahiyat al-ahlaf” (Introduction to the book “Detailed information about predecessors and greetings to descendants”).

According to the Hanafi school of law, istihsan refers to a method of reasoning based on analogy. This method is used to make legal decisions based on existing precedents. However, other Islamic groups misinterpret the term as meaning “what the heart desires”. Despite differences in terminology, all Islamic groups use the istihlah methodology. The author gives a definition of the term istikhsan, discusses the understanding of the term by various Islamic groups, compares the concepts of istikhsan and istislah.

The article is devoted to the importance of moving away from the position of blind following in matters of the fundamentals of Islam. The author refers to the opinion of Imam al-Kqurtubi on the following issues: blind faith in the foundations of religion, the position of a blind believer before God, the first Sharia duty. The different points of view on these issues are listed.

The article is devoted to the importance of namaz, namely about jumga namaz, the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad relative to him are given. The conditions of the obligation and validity of jumga namaz are described, the opinions of early theologians of the Shafiʼi madhhab are given from sources: “Hashiya Shirvani ‘ala tuhfat almukhtaj”, “al-ikna‘”, “Khil al-‘usur‘ala ‘ulama al-‘usur”, as well as modern scholars: “‘Abd alFattah”, “Muhammad Salih ar-rais”.

Muhammad al-Shamgoudi issued a fatwa on the inadmissibility of extending marriage without a legal divorce. The author explores the issue of resuming marriage after an irrevocable divorce based on the fatwas of al-Shamgoudi in comparison with the scholar of the Shafiʼi madhab Ibn Hajar Haythami.

The author analyzes the concept of faith in the book “Rukh Al-Maani” by Shihab ad-Din al-Alusi, which is considered a comprehensive encyclopedic interpretation of his previous works. Imam al-Alusi was one of the later scholars who influenced Islamic sciences.

The article presents a study of the works of Imam Abu- l-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Basri al-Mawardi. He was known for his contributions to Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), political philosophy, and social sciences. He is the author of the tafsir “Tafsir al-Mawardi”, which is a commentary on individual verses of the Quran. The author of the article concludes that Al-Marwadi in Tafsir relied on the works of scholars Abu Jafar Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari and ibn abi Hatim, he summarized the statements of his predecessors, adding his own conclusions to them.

The task of religious figures is to conduct public work, the object of which are people with diverse beliefs, interests and views on life and society. Muslim preachers often face difficulties in their work related to finding ways to interact with government officials, other faiths, and public, political, and social organizations. This requires them to have a creative approach to work, high erudition and knowledge in matters of sociology, politics, history and modern technology. In addition, a religious figure has to deal with situations that are not prescribed in religious books. This can cause him to have an internal conflict with his own beliefs as a Muslim, when he has to make a deal with his conscience and faith.
